Puppy Welcomes Spring

I have spent so much time just browsing through the blog "A Place For My Cards".

Today I made a card based on one she made in February last year.  Click here to visit that post and see her card.

Here is the card I made today:

I used Cricut Cartridge: Paper Pups and Walk In My Garden.  (Click on the cartridge names to view the digital handbook.)

Here are the details:
Card base light blue from Value pack pre-scored for easy folding
Background papers from DCWV Flower Shower Spring Stack
Purple paper cut @ 5 1/4" x 4"
Blue paper cut @ 4 3/4" x 3 1/2"
Papers and Card base inked around the edges with
Black ink from Craft Smart (Michael's)
Cricut Cartridge: Paper Pups
Puppy on page 82, cut @ 2 1/2" using SOLID feature
Outlined freehand with Creative Memories Fine Tip Black
Puppy accented with Pink crayon on cheek and
chalk from Stampin' Up
Cricut Cartridge: Walk In My Garden
Flower on page 86 cut @ 2"
Stem on page 103 cut @ 4"
Outlined freehand with Creative Memories Fine Tip Black

What have you made today?

  2. OH You did such a wonderful job on the cards!!...it s neet to see them somewhere else...it like how you don't see yourself like other people see you..you look in the mirrow at the thing you arnt' sure you like about yourself... so you don't see the whole picture...well my cards are kind of that way..I see the pieces...and when I saw your cards that you made from my blog I just saw the whole picture and it made me happy... you did such a beautiful job on both cards!!...just beautiful!!... let me know how your mom likes hers!
