The Little Things You Do Make Such A Big Difference

This one feels very calm… very peaceful… very “I have my life together.”

Meanwhile, I’m over here forgetting why I walked into a room. LOL

But this card? It’s thriving. Soft skies, happy little flowers, a bow that clearly had its moment of glory—and that watering can just out here doing its job like a champ.

  • Whimsical Yellow Flowers Spring Clipart
  • Kraft Gatefold Card
  • Stampin' Up pattern paper
  • Stampin' Up inks used around circle
  • Die-namics Stitched Round Circle
  • Stitched Postage Stamp for inside message
  • Twine with Pink
  • Gems
  • Stampin' Up Hues of Happiness stamp set
  • Foam tape to adhere image in circle on gatefold

And then you open it…

And suddenly it’s like, “Oh. So all those little things I do actually matter?”

Well… that was unexpected. In the best way.

Because we don’t usually give ourselves credit for the small stuff—the check-ins, the kind words, the showing up. But apparently… those are the big things in disguise.

This card is basically a gentle nudge wrapped in cuteness.

Moral of the story: The little things you do matter more than you think (even the ones you barely remember doing).

Now I’m curious: What’s something small you do all the time that you’ve never really counted as a “big deal”?

Let Your Light Shine

This one feels like a quiet moment you almost miss if you’re moving too fast.

She’s not loud about it. Not trying to impress anyone. Just standing there, holding her little sunflower close… and somehow, that says everything. There’s a gentle kind of confidence here—the kind that doesn’t need attention to be real.

  • Sunflower Girl
  • Card Base - Kraft Cardstock
  • Cardstock - White, Early Espresso, So Saffron
  • Pattern Paper - Stampin' Up scraps & Deep Blue Sea by Carta Bella
  • Ink - Soft Suede
  • Die-Cuts - Pretty Labels, Banner, Grass
  • Twine - Kraft with Yellow Sprinkles for bow
  • Other - Adhesive

I love how the layers frame her so softly, like the whole card is protecting that tiny glow. And that sweet banner across the top? It doesn’t shout… it simply reminds.

This card doesn’t sparkle loudly… it glows.

Moral of the story: Your light doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful.

Now I’m curious: When do you feel your light shining the most?

Lost In A Good Book

This one feels like a quiet little escape you don’t want to end.

Sunglasses on, book in hand, completely tuned out from the world—she’s not just reading… she’s gone. Off somewhere far more interesting than whatever’s going on around her.

I had fun layering these patterns to feel a bit like collected moments—little snippets, like pages from different stories coming together. It’s relaxed, but still full of personality.

This card doesn’t ask for attention… it invites you to slow down and slip into your own story for a while.

Moral of the story: Sometimes the best place to be is lost in a good story.

Now I’m curious… What’s the last book you couldn’t put down?

Floating Through The Day

This one feels like a gentle exhale.

Eyes closed, floating along, not a care in sight—she’s not trying to get anywhere… she’s just enjoying where she already is. And somehow, that feels like exactly the right place to be.

I loved mixing the playful patterns here—the waves, the soft florals, the pops of color—like little pieces of a carefree day coming together. It’s relaxed, but still bright and happy.

This card doesn’t rush or push… it just drifts, quietly reminding you to do the same every now and then.

Moral of the story: Sometimes the best thing you can do is simply let yourself float.

Now I’m curious… When was the last time you truly slowed down and enjoyed the moment?

Awesome Looks Good On You

Awesome Looks Good On You
  • Whimsical Quirky Summer Horse Clipart
  • White cardstock base
  • Gems
  • Stampin'Up Cardstock and Flowered paper using SU Hues of Happiness
  • Stampin' Up ink Highland Heather
  • Twine
  • Die cut - Stitched Rectangle and rounded corners
  • I used 2 strips of foam tape to adhere the Horse to the left side and give him a little lift off the page

  • More shiny gems added to the right side :)

  • The inside!
  • Die Cut - Amazon
  • Inking around the edges
  • gems
  • Close To My Heart - sentiment

This one feels like the kind of compliment that sticks with you all day.

That sweet little horse with the oversized glasses and flower in hand looks so adorably unsure of herself… while simultaneously being completely lovable. And honestly? That’s probably why this card works so well. It feels real. A little awkward, a little sweet, and full of personality.

I had so much fun building this gatefold design. The floral papers wrapping around both sides feel soft and cheerful, while the purple layers and twine pull everything together with that cozy handmade touch I love so much. And when the card opens up to reveal “Awesome looks good on you”… it suddenly feels extra personal.

Like a little reminder someone might really need.

There’s something special about cards like this. They don’t have to be loud or dramatic to make an impact. Sometimes a simple message, paired with a thoughtful handmade design, says more than a whole speech ever could.

And can we talk about those glasses for a second? Because they absolutely steal the show. She looks like she’s trying to act casual while secretly hoping you like the flower she brought you.

This card doesn’t try to be perfect… it just shows up with heart.

Moral of the story: A little kindness and encouragement always look good on people.

Now I’m curious… What’s a compliment someone gave you that you still remember years later?
