Fishing You Were Here

Project #349 of this year
What? It's after Thanksgiving so you were expecting a Christmas card? Yeah, that would have been a good idea too, but today I just grabbed my zippie (ziplock bag) full of pre-cut and assembled Cricut cuts and pulled some out for a quick card.
A2 size card ( 5 1/2" x 4 1/4") with a green card base.
Background paper from a Walmart summer pack.
CAMPIN' CRITTERS used for Deer fishing. It's cut @ 3 1/2".
I'm not sure where the cloud is from, but probably from Create A Critter.
The sun is from GIVE A HOOT and trimmed to fit corner of card.
The grass on the bottom is cut from ??? Sorry. I should probably write on the backs of these cuts before I stuff them in my Zippie of pre-cuts.
"Fishing you were here" is a stamp from K Andrew Designs "Splashtastic Summer" set.

Enjoy today! Tomorrow starts DECEMBER! Ho Ho Ho!

Before we got to today's OWL SERIES, I want to announce the winner of last week's GIVEAWAY! We had 16 comments with suggestions for the perfect sentiment for my Santa Elf Rudolph card. You guys are so much fun! I'm going to do another giveaway next week, so be sure and stop back by and see how you can enter to win. I read him Pam's comment and he LOVED it! Pam, this is so unlike you. You crack me up. Please email your address to me at Janis at slowar dot com. I'll get your stamps in the mail to you first thing in the morning. :)  So, Congratulations, Pam! You have won the Winter Wishes stamp set by K Andrew Designs shown below:

CardzTV Cricut Cardz Ch#96: "Christmas ~ Say It With S"

Good morning! I hope all of you have a very special and loving Thanksgiving tomorrow whether you are spending it with yourself, your doggie, your kitty, your family or donating your time helping others have a good meal for this day. Happy Thanksgiving a day early.

Today is the beginning of a brand new challenge over at CardzTV! I love being on Mary's Design Team! Make sure you take the time to check out all the wonderful card creations from the entire Design Team. What a talented, creative bunch!

For Ch#96 Mary has asked us to make a Christmas Cricut Card using something that starts with the letter S. You can use any Cricut cartridge and colors you'd like!

Project #303 of this year
My card was made using cardstock from Recollections for my card base. The pattern papers are from Echo Park's Holly Jolly Christmas kit. The "Merry Christmas" sticker is also from that same kit.  The glitter papers are from DCWV. Buttons and jute from stash.

I used the WINTER FROLIC cartridge for the Stocking cut. It's found on page 49 and was cut @ 4 1/2". You can find this cut on the keypad overlay Row 3, Column 2.

Hope you'll have time in the next couple of weeks to come play with us making your own Cricut Christmas card with something that starts with the letter S. Happy Turkey Day! :) Janis
