Besties... Stamp, Blog, Craft, Knit Together...

Thank you all so much for stopping by my blog every day and leaving me such sweet comments. You really make me smile. I enjoy all your comments and appreciate all my followers! Thank you so much!

Today begins Challenge #60 at my challenge blog, PAPER PLAYTIME.
For Ch#60 it's all about Thank You Projects you create using your Cricut.

I made a Thank You card. Gasp. A card! Gosh, I never make cards. LOL  Okay, so I'm a card making addict. I love making cards!! But I also enjoy Stamping, Blogging, Crafting, and not really Knitting, but rather Crocheting. And all of these things are so much more fun when they are done with your friends. Sharing ideas. Gaining inspiration from each other's projects. Fun stuff.

Project #299 of this year
I love this card! I have also found that my Xyron saves me a lot of frustration gluing small pieces.

I got this little purple guy at Michael's with a 40% off coupon earlier this year. At first I was afraid to use it too much because I didn't want to use up the roll too quickly even though I bought a refill at the same time I bought the X. Why do we do that to ourselves? Buy paper stacks, and then save them because they are too pretty to use and other silly things like that?  I've thrown that precaution to the wind. Now, I use what I have and enjoy it. So what if I run out? Then I'm out. At least I enjoyed it for the reason I bought it to begin with. LOL

Here are all the details about my card:

Kate's ABCs for girl in rain image & sentiment frame. (I think that sentiment frame also looks like a mirror, don't you?)
  • Little girl in rain page 37 cut @ 4 1/4". Keypad overlay Row 2, Column 7.

  • Sentiment frame page 68 cut @ 4" with shadow. Keypad overlay Row 5, Column 8.

  • Background cloud paper from DCWV cut @ 4" x 5 1/4".
  • All of the stamps in the sentiment frame are from K Andrew Designs "Crafty Friends" set.

This is also my card I'm submitting to my good friend, Maria's, Inspire Me Fridays Link Party. Go check it out!

For my 2nd card I stuck with the rainy theme, but used Nate's ABCs cart this time.

Project #300 of this year
  • Background glitter paper from DCWV cut @ 5 1/4" x 4".
  • Nate's ABCs for Rainy Day cut @ 4 1/4" page 37. Keypad overlay Row 2, Column 7.

  • Rhinestones from Recollections.
  • Splashtastic stamp from K Andrew Designs "Splash-tastic Summer" stamp set.

Enjoy your Monday! Smiles :) Janis
