Good morning, and welcome to my Inspiration Wednesday post.
I'm a little late getting it posted today. My husband and I had the flu last week, and while he is all better, mine is still lingering on a little.
I was laying in bed last night thinking about what today's Inspiration post would be about. Lots of ideas, but none of them "hit the spot" for today's post. I knew I wanted to talk about friendship, so I did a little Google-ing and found the above Bible Journal page. Don't you love it? I'm so going to put a cupcake in my journaling Bible by Proverbs 27:9.
"Oil and perfume rejoice the heart; so does the sweetness of a
friend's counsel that comes from the heart."
Proverbs 27:9 AMP
I'm very blessed to have sweet friendships. There's nothing like having someone to laugh with, cry with, encourage, and be encouraged by. Surround yourself with friends who truly care about you. Be there for them. They will be there for you.
I encourage you today to call someone, and ask how they are doing. Tell them you were thinking about them, and wanted to hear what is going on in their world today. If they are having troubles, don't feel the need to fix it for them. Just listen. Sometimes we don't want to be told what to do, we just want to vent. Encourage them. Pray for them. Its amazing how powerful prayer is when we get specific.
Before I go, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to those who have left comments on my Inspiration Wednesday posts. It's nice to hear from you.
Hi, everyone! It's time for Delightful Wednesdays at Digital Delights by Louby Loo! Christine and I (Janis) rotate posting every other Wednesday a project based on the theme we came up with for the current month.
I love scrapbooking! Here is my title page for 2017. I used my Cricut to cut out some die cuts for different topics I want to journal about on the page. All of the stamps used are from Mary's Cardz TV Stamps, Favorite Phrases stamp set.
Here are the different reasons for each card, die cut, and stamps used:
HOME SWEET HOME
Stamp - Savor life's little moments
We love Alaska, and are so glad to be back here!
Stamp - Let your light shine!
I have missed going to church, and being in Women's Bible Study. I searched for a Women's Bible Study Group online recently and found one on Facebook! Our Bible Study started on January 9th, and we are studying Kelly Minter's "All Things New." Jump in and come join us! I'll be hand-writing a little about that on the tree card. I chose the tree to represent deepening my roots in God's Word.
Stamp - Do what you love!
Life is Short. Do what you love. That's what I always say.
Stamp - Love you to pieces!
I do love my family. Love them all to pieces.
Stamp - Be good to yourself!
Oh my gosh. I love to read. Always have, even as a little kid. There is nothing else like the smell of walking into a bookstore or the library. Time stops. I'm all in, and good luck pulling me out any time soon. Last year on my blog I had a 2016 Books Read link up. I'm doing that again this year. You guys can find it at the top of my blog in the Page Tab section. It will be there all year long. Link up what you are reading. You can use the Goodreads or Amazon or similar web page to link to. I'm always looking for something good to read next. This link up helps us all find our next best read.
