Moving Along with the Times has a new challenge starting today!
The theme for the new challenge is
"add a charm or tag"
My Design Team project...
I decided to add a tag to my project for this challenge.
I used a Silhouette cut file for the box and the Stampin' Up Scallop Tag Topper punch for the tag plus a little bit of their black Baker's twine as well.
For my Quick & Easy project, I used a Silhouette file that did not have to be paper pieced in layers. So easy. Now I will say that cutting slivers of foam tape and putting those on the tree branches wasn't very quick, but that is optional and you can just glue the tree down with liquid glue if you prefer.
Today I am posting another card for my Design Team application to CAS Colours & Sketches. They wanted those interested in applying for their DT to enter the color challenge they had last week as well as the sketch challenge this week to see how we do with each type of challenge. I'm sure a lot of creative people are applying, but I thought I'd give it a go. The only thing I know for sure is that if I didn't apply, then I would definitely not make the team. LOL
My card for the sketch challenge...
Here is the awesome sketch they have for the challenge this week.
I used two Stampin' Up stamp sets:
Tranquil Tulips (hostess set), Tabs for Everything.
Inks: Pumpkin Pie, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Old Olive
Ribbon: Old Olive Sheer Ribbon
Punch: Classic Label
This has been fun trying out for the team!
On a personal note: I want to say thank you so much for visiting with me on my blog. I read all of your comments. They always make me smile. You have no idea what a little comment can do to boost your happiness level. I appreciate you guys.
Stampin' Up will be debuting their brand new Stampin' Blends on November 1st. As demonstrators, we get to play with new products early. Love that! Today's card is using some of the fun things in the current annual catalog as well as some fun things in the mini Holiday catalog. You'll see all the shopping links below. The Stampin' Blends are also in the shopping link, but just know that link will take you to my main online store shopping page for now. On November 1st, it will take you directly to the Stampin' Blends. You are going to love these markers!!
I'm having fun learning how to color.
The At Home With You Stampin' Up stamp set is a good one for practice. Lots of things you can mix and match to make different scenes or just use an image on it's on like I did for this card. The Whisper White cardstock handles these alcohol markers perfectly.
Here is a shopping link list for all the items used to make this card.
