TO MY FRIEND

I discovered a new blog today - that's always fun, isn't it?  This is a Challenge blog - and I do like the a good dose of challenges every now and then when I'm not just creating whatever suits my fancy.

Click here to visit THE PLAY DATE CAFE's current challenge.  This week is a color splash challenge. You're suppose to use black and white with just a splash of color and this time the color is orange.

I don't know why - but this was hard for me. (D'uh - it's a CHALLENGE - Helloooo...)

I'm used to using pattern papers and wild colors.  I had to really tone it down this week.  But, I like the way it turned out.  Here's my card....

I used one of my new rhinestones I got from Joann's last weekend!  Yeah!  I put it in the center of the flower.

Now, what's funny is... when I was cutting the pieces for this card, I accidentally hit the HORSE button instead of the ZEBRA button for one of the cuts, and it cut a scarf.  So I thought, hmmmm, this could be the boy zebra!

I laid the scarf down on this one just to see if it would work together, and it will.  Obviously I didn't attach it, because I don't think the scarf and flower are needed.  I mean, that would be one confused zebra, right?  hahahaha   And just think about all those people out in bloggy land not actually reading this, but just looking at the pictures.  They are going to be confused wondering why I put a scarf on there.  No fear, the scarf isn't attached.
