Good morning all my crafty friends! Busy day today at our house getting ready for lots of work to be done at the house in the country today. Let me tell you about it. We own a house in a very small town in South Carolina. We bought it from my hubbub's maternal grandparents in 2006. Prior to that the house has been in several different owner hands and has gone through many transformations as it was built in 1886 and was the original school house for this town. We gutted it down to the studs, and have been rebuilding while changing the floor plan around too.  Here's a sample of our work....

We also have photos of before we started the gutting and plan on organizing them into a progress scrapbook when the work is completed.  So there is lots of PAINTING in my plans for this weekend.

Enough about that... here's a SPOTTY card I made for some challenges going on right now in blogland.

    1. My hubbub does the construction like you guys do at your place. He does the plubming, wiring, everything. He is custom building the cabinets himself, etc. So we save $$ that way, but it still costs a lot. We were living in it and trying to work on it at the same time, but it was just too much of a hassle. So we moved to an apartment. But, come end of August, we will be moving back to the house, so I sure hope it's done by then, or at least has carpet, flooring, etc. I'd love to see pictures of what you guys are doing. Please email me and let me know if you got this reply. I'm not sure how this reply stuff works on comments. :)
