Christmas in July Wednesdays!

Cardz For U is hosting "Christmas in July Wednesdays"!!

Every Wednesday she'll upload a Christmas card she has created. Want to participate? All you have to do is leave a comment with a link to your Christmas card creation and she'll post it on her blog the next Wednesday!! Sounds like great fun! HO HO HO!

I used an image from my computer and colored it with Crayola markers.

The background paper is DCWV All Dressed Up. The image background is sponged with Stampin' Up's Glorious Green, Blissful Blue, and More Mustard. I used my Zig 2-Way glue pen in swirls on the image background and dumped some Martha Steward glitter on it! (Now I'm all sparkly.)

I free hand cut the paper around the image. I was a tad off with the first blue layer - it sort of went up at an angle. So I just went with it and made the green and black layers exaggerate that upward slant.

The sentiment was printed on the computer, and I used the same slant cutting, but this time on the bottom to compliment the image's angle.

Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Jingle Bells,
Janis
