Sweet Sketch 4

LOL! I just giggle when I see this card. Why? Glad you asked... funny story...

Sweet Sketch Wednesday #4 had this sketch for us to follow:

I started out trying really hard to follow this sketch, but the papers I put on my card were NOT turning out the way I wanted. So I said, "FINE!"

I opened my drawer of cut images I haven't used and decided whatever went on my card, was coming from this drawer... no exceptions.

And that's how this mix matched creation was born:

The images don't really fit... the colors don't really coordinate... but hey, art sometimes doesn't make sense, right? Consider this "modern card" art... you know... like the paintings that look like a 3 year old did them. :)

I hope this gave you a good laugh. Give it a try. Use whatever you can and post a link to your creation. I can't wait to see your "modern card art"!!!!

Smoochie,
Janis

Love your modern art card! I wish I could make a card that's not "cookie cutter". I always have to have everything lined up, coordinated, boring, and balanced...not very creative! I think your card is stunning! Thinking outside the box is what makes art. You are very creative and talented, Janis. Great card!

Mary
