10 months to Christmas Blog Hop

We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board Video Tutorial...HERE

Happy Monday! Did you know that today is the 25th? That means only 10 more months until Christmas. Are you counting down yet?  I am so honored to be asked to be a Guest Designer for this month's blog hop my friend, Heather, does each month with our Countdown to Christmas.  The theme for February's hop is to use Red, White and One other color. Now I have to admit. One of the cards I made had an additional color sneak in there and I didn't even realize it until it was time to get this post set up. So please forgive me. I'm the new girl. :)
 Here's my first card:

  • A2 size card 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
  • Background "snow" paper from Recollections "Bright and Basic" 180 stack.
  • Washi tape used instead of ribbon
  • CRICUT ALPHABET:
    • Present p. 43 cut @ 4"
    • Green present embossed using "Kassie's Brocade" Cuttlebug folder
    • Ribbon embossed using "Swiss Dots" Cuttlebug folder and then inked with Studio G white ink
    • Tag on present from Stampin Up Window Punch and inked around the edges with Tim Holtz Tea Dye distress ink
  • Cardz TV Stamps:
    • "Tiny Tidings" stamp set used for tag sentiment and inked with Memento Tuxedo Black ink
  • Present adhered with foam tape for dimension
Here's my second card:
  • A2 size card 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
  • Background cloud paper from my friend, Sharon. I have no idea the name of it.
  • I hand cut the bottom for the snowy ground at an angle and inked around the edges with Colorbox Sky Blue ink
  • The snowflakes and village houses are all stickers from the Echo Park "Jolly & Bright" Collection pack. (I love Echo Park and their Collection Packs.)
  • Cardz TV Stamps:
    • "Tiny Tidings" stamp set used for tag sentiment and inked with Memento Tuxedo Black ink
Thanks for stopping by today! I'm last on the hop list, so I really appreciate you hopping all the way through and stopping by and leaving me a comment. Have a fabulous weekend! :) Janis
