FRIENDS ALWAYS

This is my first attempt at a stair step card.  Not too shabby.  It was a whole lot easier to do than I thought.  I followed the instructional video by Mary @ CardzTV.  Click here to view it.  (If you want to be really fancy, you can watch her Side Step Stair Card HERE.)  This card does fit into an A2 size envelope!

To make a Stair Step Card:

  1. Start out with  10 1/2" x 5 1/2" piece of cardstock.
  2. Score @ 1 1/4", 2 1/2", 4 1/4", 6, and 8 1/4"
  3. Accordian fold
See!  Easy-peasy lemon squeezy.

Here are my card details:
  • 1st Green mat 1 1/8" x 5 1/4" from Debbie Mumm
  • 2nd Green mat 1 1/2" x 5 1/4" from Debbie Mumm
  • Blue sky mat 4" x 5 1/4" from Debbie Mumm
  • All Cricut Cuts with Recollections papers
  • Cricut Cartridge:  PAPER DOLL DRESS UP
  • Dragon page 48 cut @ 3"
  • Knight page 48 cut @ 3 1/2"
  • Bridge, flags, joust page 48 cut @ 3 1/3"
  • Googlie eye, button, twine, metal square paper clip all from Joann's
  • Cuts edged with Stampin' Up chalks
  • Sentiment printed from computer and edged with brown ColorBox ink
  • Knight face drawn on with Ultra Fine Tip Black Sharpie
This is my submission for the following challenges found on THE DAILY DARE this morning:
  1. Paper Sundaes #30 - Metal
  2. One Stitch At A Time #25 - Mystical
Have a fun day!
