SCHOOL DAYS PAPER PLAYTIME CHALLENGE!

Good Monday Morning all my Bloggy Friends!

I have scheduled this to post on Monday morning.  But please keep my family in your prayers and good thoughts today.  We are actually in Charleston at the VA Hospital where my Daddy is having heart surgery this morning.  They are doing a triple by-pass which will also take care of the aneurysm he has in his heart.  I would be grateful for all the positive thoughts and prayers you can send our way.  When I get home, I'll post an update.

Today, Paper Playtime is having Challenge #11 with the theme:

SCHOOL DAYS

You can interpret this theme any way you like and make whatever kind of project you want as long as it's made with PAPER!  I'm the PAPER QUEEN this week!  Woooo-Hoooooo!

Also, we are sponsored by THE STAMPING BOUTIQUE this week who has tons of adorable images.  Their School Days images are perfect for this week's challenge!

Here is my "BEFORE" picture of the item I altered.  (I really hope this doesn't offend anyone.)

And here are my "AFTER" pictures:

I used 2 digi images from THE STAMPING BOUTIQUE.  The images were colored with Crayola markers, crayons, and pencils.

I used the divider that came in the box, but reinforced it with some chipboard to separate my markers from my pencils.

The papers are from Debbie Mumm NURSERY RHYME.  These papers are so soft and pretty.

Flowers (Prima Costa Bright), buttons, and jute from Joann's & Michael's.

I used that "hard to use" roll of red double sided sticky tape. (I'd like it much better if you could tear the tape instead of having to cut it with the scissors.)  And the images and flowers were adhered with pop dots for dimension.

Hope you enjoy this and it inspires you to hop over to Paper Playtime and play along!
THE WINNER WILL RECEIVE 5 DIGI IMAGES OF THEIR CHOICE FROM THE STAMPING BOUTIQUE!

Have a BLESSED day, my friends!  :)
