Brilliant! I Like Your Style!

Creation #232 of 2011
Hi!  Who's in the mood for some crafty challenges today? I am! I am! I made this card specifically for some challenges I saw going on in blogland.  I'll link to them below in case you want to pop over and play along too. Challenges are fun! Don't forget my challenge blog, Paper Playtime, has a Vacation theme challenge going on right now. It ends this Saturday at Noon. Hope you'll play with us over there!

RECIPE:
  1. Tall Card is 9" x 8" cardstock scored @ 4". This will fit into a regular Business Size #10 envelope with no problem!
  2. Card base paper from K&Co Carolyn Gavin's "Greenhouse". (My all time favorite paper pack)
  3. FOREVER YOUNG Cricut cartridge for model page 36 cut @ 7 1/2". Keypad overlay Row 2, Column 3.
  4. FOREVER YOUNG Cricut cartridge for "brilliant" page 36 cut @ 1 1/2". Keypad overlay Row 2, Column 3.
  5. Black ribbon from Joann's.
  6. Beautiful blue rose from Celeste @ Touched By A Butterfly. She makes these beautiful roses from paper by hand. They are stunning!
  7. *Blue heart rhinestones from Prima.
  8. Fun "I like your style!" clear stamp from K Andrew Designs' set "FASHIONABLE FRIENDS". Here's a pic of all the stamps in that set:

This card is my entry for the following challenges:

  • All Sorts #119 Use Blue & Green (green card, blue elements)
  • Wee Memories #66 Use a Sentiment (I like your style!)
  • Pile It On #36 Use anything that starts with the letter "B" (Bow, Brilliant, Blue)
Have a fun day! :) Janis
