I am in love with all things Simple Stories!

Did any of you grow up on a farm?

My grandparents lived on a farm with 2 fishing ponds.

I remember going out to pick beans, fish 

(caught a huge one when I was about 10 or so - I should 

look for that photo & show you - sorry, couldn't find it),

pick a watermelon... things like that.

I remember running in the cornfields and getting lost.

That was fun too.

This card has nothing to do with that,

it just came to mind and thought I'd share.

My brain is rather random sometimes. hahahahahaha

Have y'all seen the door corners? 

This is something I've just recently discovered.

There are so many different ones out there.

This was created with our OMTech Laser cutter.

(I LOVE THIS MACHINE!)

Door Corner decoration is cut from 1/8" wood,

Then I spray painted the 2 different parts - Moon & Woman with Cat

So fun! Love it!

I'm thinking about putting this design in our online store, Moose42.com,

and maybe adding other door corner designs as well. If you'd like to see more, let me know in the comments!

Today would have been my Mama's birthday, but she died 4 years ago.

I still think about her a lot. Sometimes I want to call her, but instead I ask God to please tell her I love her. 

My mama loved butterflies & angels. I thought this card would be the perfect expression of my feelings today. And of course I had to include a butterfly even with the rainboots and flowers.
