Hello, everyone!
I'm a little late posting today.
Thanks for stopping by to check out what I'm up to in my craft room.
We have been under a flood warning STILL.
Even though the rain has stopped and it's actually beautiful outside, the rivers continue to rise with the runoff water from the flood. I'm very proud of the people here in South Carolina. There has been no looting whatsoever, no riots, nothing like that. Instead there has been an outpouring of supplies, shelters, volunteer aide, etc. I printed some of the photos submitted to our local news media whom they shared on social media, and included them in my scrapbook along with some statistics. One day, as our descendants look through our family scrapbooks, we will tell them our stories from this historic flood, and have some photos to show them as well. I just want to share one more photo with you today before I show you the adorable Halloween card I made this afternoon. I did not take these pictures. These photos were submitted exactly as I printed them to the local news here. This is one of the bridges crossing to Columbia, SC. Our family visits the Riverfront Park now and then and walks down the trails that parallel this river the bridge spans across. We tread at the river's edge under this bridge enjoying the sights, sounds, and being together on a nice day. But look at these photos. Look how high the water is!
Okay, on to a fun Halloween Card..........
