Windmill Magnetic Bookmark (for my daddy)

Last week my daddy moved into an assisted living place. It was a big change for the family, but he has adjusted well. He asked me if I would make him a "working windmill" bookmark. Of course I couldn't say no to that.

The windmill is from KaDoodle Bug Designs "Prim Autumn" which you can find HERE. To make it a working windmill, I added a brad to the arms.

I copied the base and flipped it vertically then overlapped it with the original base and clicked on WELD in the Silhouette software. A dash line was added for easy folding. To make the bookmark stay in place, I adhered two magnets inside. This way daddy can put the bookmark around the page, and the magnets will snap shut holding the bookmark in place even if he drops the book. Of course without the magnets, this would also make a great card fold.

He told me he wanted a genuine Janis Creation, so I was sure to stamp my name and blog address on the back of it. LOL

Thanks for stopping by!
See you again real soon.
:) Janis
