Mini Book using PL Extra Filler Cards

Hi, everyone!

Do you have way too many filler cards?
Do you have cards you don't use because they aren't as loved as others you have?
Got so many duplicate cards you don't know how you'll ever use them all?

Well, you came to the right post today.
This post is just for YOU!
I saw this idea on Pinterest and visited the blog for more info.
This is a fabulous idea!

Use those extra (or less loved) Filler Cards and make a little journal book!
I used my Cinch to bind it, but you could use a Crop-a-dile and binder ring, or ribbon, or whatever your favorite way is to create a mini book.

Use this idea for.....
Seems like I am always off somewhere and wanting to write something down, but don't have a paper pad with me.

Your toddler wants to be just like mommie and play with cards too, and write, and color, and put stickers in it.

You're on Vacation and forgot your calendar / PL Daily Planner where you write down moments or conversations you want to incorporate into your layout later. What's a girl to do?

Liked the idea of a Smash Book but refused to buy one more crafty thing to do?

Okay, so you get the idea. There are so many uses for these books.

I used the 3x4 cards, but you could also use the 4x6 if you want.
For the brackets on the front cover - My Creative Time die.
Tabs - My Creative Time die.
Stamped sentiments - also My Creative Time.
Some washi tape and stickers - voila! 'Tis done.
(And oh so cute.)

Be sure to link up your Filler Card Books in the Bimini Moose Anything Goes Challenge!
We want to see what you're making!

  2. What a cool idea Janis! I don't know if I have any "less" loved filler cards or not, but if I run across some I will be doing this idea for sure! Hugs, Brenda
