  1. Great idea! love this little owl! Thank you for playing along with Frosted Designs this week!

  2. Thanks for playing along with Frosted Designs Challenge. I love the spring feeling colors. Plus what an awesome way to reuse something for scrappy storage. Love it! I will have to buy me some GRITS. TFPA

  3. Definitely looks better dressed up. :) Really pretty decoration. Great job!

  4. Oh I love this!!! So super cute!!! I didn't know that grits came in a container like oatmeal. I thought they either came in a bag or a box with little packets!! We don't have them in this kind of container here! But then, the only way I can eat them is if they are floating in butter and sugar!! Not all Southern grown girls like grits ya know!! :)

  5. This came out so pretty, Janis! Great job on repurposing your grits container!

  6. This is so cute!! Love the idea. I have an award for you over at my blog! Jenn :)

  7. This is so so cute!! :) And what a great way to recycle!! TFS :)

  8. OOoooh. This is a GREAT idea! I have been planning on using an old can for my kitchen utensils...but it would be ugly. And I like non-ugly things. I can't make something this cute, but I could sure cover it in patterned paper and contact paper! Thanks for such a great idea!!!

  9. too cute ! what a great idea !

  10. Sooooo cute. I'm always saving these "cans" and never know what to do with them. Now I do. Thanks!!

  11. This is just too adorable for words, I love it!

  12. Fab idea. That owl is adorable. Just noticed you were in Houston. I'm near you! Nice to see a fellow Texan in blog land. :)
