• Pattern mat cut @ 3 3/4" x 5", inked with distress ink around the edges, and adhered at an angle with edges trimmed to fit card
• Fiskars Journal punch for sentiment mat
• Cardz TV Stamps "More Encouraging Thoughts" for sentiment stamp (shop here)
• 2 different sizes of googlie eyes added for giggles
• Rhinestones added for headlights
• BEEP BEEP used for car die cut @ 2 1/2", white gel pen used on wheels for accent, and adhered with an Action Wobble from TSQ's Royal Shoppe (shop here)

Paper Bag Mini

Do you guys make a lot of paper bag albums?

I always start out with excitement and usually end up getting disgusted. LOL

This album was created using small white paper bags from Michael's.

All of the pages are using heavy cardstock with glitter and shine from DCWV.

Both the front and back covers are chipboard. 

The insides are not embellished or matted yet.

I have not created the pull out tags for all the bag openings yet either.

I can't decide if I want this to be a recipe album, or a photo album.

Hmm... and I love this paper so much, I hate to cover any of it up. LOL

Santa Letter for Bonnie

Good morning!  

Our special needs daughter, Bonnie, has had me mail out at 2 different letters to Santa.

Today she was surprised and happy to see that 

SANTA WROTE HER BACK!

How cool is that?

Thank you, Santa Claus, for taking the time to send our baby girl a wonderful letter from you. Especially since we know how very busy you are this time of year.

Kati's Cat Condo & Janis' Mini Album

Jingle Jingle! Happy Monday! 

Quick post today.

Our middle daughter, Kati, came over yesterday with this idea to build her kitty a Cat Condo / Scratching Post type thingie.

So she and her daddy picked out some wood from his scrap pile he had left over from our remodeling the house, and got started.

She was able to cover each layer with pillow batting under some really soft material.

The tops are white, and the bottoms are a gorgeous chocolate brown with a diamond pattern.  The bottom shelf has the brown material on the top as well. (Just for some contrast.)

Time to wrap that scratching sisal stuff around the posts.

When Kati is finished, I'll pop another picture up later in the week.

Now, for my little mini album to show you.

Album is made from recycled rolls covered with The Robin's Nest newspaper print cardstock.

Tags are from CTMH ARTISTE cartridge p. 35 cut @ 2 1/2".

I still need to do a lot of embellishing and add some photos to it.

I will be searching the Directv guide for Christmas programming to record for Bonnie to enjoy this month. We've already watched a few Christmas movies. I love doing that!
