BOO !
Hi, crafters
Today is my hubby's birthday!
Happy birthday, Tom!!!!
I have a bunch of Halloween cards to share with you this month. :)
Hope you enjoy them as much as I did making them.
Card #8
Another favorite of mine in this series.
Frankie is just so cute...
This was one of the last cards I created in this series, even though I'm posting him fairly early on. I was starting to run out of non-cut pattern paper, and having to use what I had and make it work. So when you start to see cards with multiple background patterns, you'll know it was me using up every scrap piece I could find to fill in the background,
The sentiment on this card was stamped on the back of a purple ticket. I have 2 ticket rolls (purple and sand colored backgrounds) that I use fairly often to hold my sentiments for cards. They are a perfect size, and so cheap to buy. Plus it's one less tool (Big Shot, dies, punches) I have to pull out to frame my sentiments. Sometimes, I'm just lazy like that... wait, I mean CREATIVE like that. hahahahaha
All of the cards in this series used the
Echo Park, Halloween Magic 6x6 paper pad.
There is a total of 18 cards - and I still had lots
of design paper left over from this pad! WOW!
All cards used solid cardstock from stash
Some cards have ribbon from various companies
Cards with sentiments are from various companies such as:
Cardz TV Stamps
Close To My Heart
Simon Says Stamp
I tried to keep everything fairly simple
and flat for mailing with the exception
of ribbon and bows now and then.
I really wanted to add some gems, sequins, and enamel dots,
but decided to stay with the flat clean & simple approach for these.
But believe me, the struggle was real to not add some bling!
Happy Halloween!
:) Janis
