Hi, everyone!
Before I get to my project for today, I want to tell you some exciting news!
//throws confetti//
Woo-Hoo!
I spent a lot of time yesterday figuring it all out, asking friends for advice and help, and entering 48 cards into my shop. I would love for you to visit my shop and click on the HEART making it one of your Favorites.
I decided to use USPS Priority Shipping which cost $6.45. The good news is, you are only charged shipping on the first item you put in your shopping cart!! All additional cards you add to your cart have a $0.00 additional shipping fee. So load lots of cards in your cart for one order and take advantage of that Priority Shipping!
Now... onto my project.....
I have a very tiny treat box to share with you today.
This box was created following Sam Donald's YouTube instructions HERE.
The finished box bottom size is 1" x 1 5/8".
Today's Project
You can leave it plain.
Or you can decorate it a little more.
We R Memory Keepers, Envelope Punch Board
BoBunny, Safari Collection, 6x6 paper pad
Palm Tree, Stinkin Cute Paper Piecings
Please follow the YouTube instructions above, but for quick reference, here's the notes I took:
Start with 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" paper
Line up at 1", punch & score
Slide down to 3", punch & score
Turn paper
Line up at first score line, punch & score
slide down to 2nd score line, punch & score
Repeat for all sides
Use corner round on punch board for corners
Fold all score lines
Hold paper with smaller tabs horizontal
Cut along score lines on each side of large tab up to 1st score line
Repeat for opposite side
Fold cut pieces in & adhere to create box.
Punch hole for ribbon.
Fill with treats, scented flower petals, cinnamon sticks, or whatever makes you smile.
Attach ribbon.
Decorate as the spirit moves you.
So easy, and you could really end up using a lot of papers in your scrap drawer!
