Thanks for being so Awesome Cricut Card - and some Alaska move chit chat

Hi, everyone!
I'm really excited about the card I have to show you today
because I found it over at Courtney Lane Designs,
and she included the cut file for it!
How easy is that?!

Today's Cricut Card

Cricut, Bits & Pieces
The Rose and the background leaves are two different files on this cartridge, but used together.
Sequins
Stampin' Up solid cardstock
Doodlebug Design, Sugar Shoppe, 6x6 pattern papers
Paper Smoochies, Uplifters stamp set

It's so fun creating with my Cricut again!
Thanks for stopping by today.
See you tomorrow!

P.S. We are suppose to close on our house on Monday.
We are still waiting to hear from the realtor for the closing appointment time.
As soon as we close and hand over the keys, we are getting in the car, and starting our 2 week trip driving to Alaska for our move.

It's always a little slower driving to Alaska in the winter.
Please pray for us for safety, goodness, and mercy to follow us on our trip.
This is the first time our two 2-year-old Pit Bulls have traveled with us there.
I really am praying that they will remain calm and not bark their heads off when crossing the Canadian border and again at the US Border into Alaska. They aren't ferocious, but they do like to scream hello to new people and lick them.
Your prayers are much appreciated.

I have blog posts scheduled to go live for the next 3 weeks, but we are planning on a two week drive.  I will have internet on my phone and iPad, but there will be a couple of days with no cell phone service while we are in Canada.  I'll try to post to the blog from my iPad (if it will let me) to give you guys an update of where we are on the North American continent. We will also have our SpotConnect running so the kids can see where we are at all times and not worry about us.

It's a crazy, busy rest of the week for us.
We need to finish the last minute packing (my Cricut, computer, and printer, are the very last thing I'm turning off and boxing), clean up the house for the new owner, take what's left in the pantry and frig to our girls, take the furniture to our girls we aren't moving with us, attend 2 different family meal gatherings (one for the entire family on Tom's side, and one with just us and our kids and their families) to say goodbye to everyone, go visit my parents one last time, and all that jazz.

We've got the passports and all the paperwork we need for our doggies to cross the border. We have all of our special needs daughter's meds filled, I still need to pack my clothes (don't worry - my wardrobe consists of just a few pants and not a whole lot of shirts - so easy peasy), and figure out what I want in the car with us. Bonnie has her TV in the backseat and games and movies. I need to download some books and movies on my iPad, and I can't decide whether to take a bag of crochet ready thread and hooks. I would rather have too many options than get bored being in the car for 2 weeks.

I know.... I tend to get on a chat ramble now and then.
Thank you for praying for our safety.
Keeping my fingers crossed closing goes off without a hitch.
(I wish they'd call already with the appointment time.)
Smiles!
