Box Card with Dawn

Good morning! Today I want to show you a BOX CARD I made following Dawn's YouTube video tutorial that I watched this morning. I love her videos. She is always very clear with her speaking, she lists everything you need and measurements, her videos are SHORT (huge fan of short videos), and I think she is just fun, fun, fun!  You can watch Dawn's video... HERE

I also want to invite you to join my Facebook Group called PLAY ALONG... HERE. It's an open group. Anyone can join. We find different projects or videos we want to all PLAY ALONG and create, and Dawn's Box Card video is our brand new Play Along starting today! All you have to do is create the project following Dawn's video and upload a photo of it to the Facebook Group Photo Albums section. Find the album called BOX CARD WITH DAWN. I'm doing a small PRIZE for this Play Along. You can see all the details and deadline in the FB group.

So.... here is the card I made following her video. It's not perfect because I don't have that very cool Stampin' Up score pad, so I had to figure out how to make those diagonal scores with my trimmer (couldn't figure out how to use the Martha Stewart scoring board to do it either). I'm sure one of you guys can figure it out. Please share if you do.

I used Stampin' Up cardstock "Gumball Green" for the card base.
Recollections "Mosaic Memories" for the pattern paper.
Ivory cardstock for the inside panel and round punch.
Fiskars scallop and round punches.
Ribbon from Offray.
Sentiments stamped using Stampin' Up "Garden Green" ink.

You can visit Dawn's blog... HERE

Now..... the sentiments themselves..... this is a SNEAK PEEK of the brand new stamp set being released tomorrow from CARDZ TV STAMPS! The stamp set is called "GOOD TIMES" and we are having a BLOG HOP tomorrow (the Cardz TV Stamps Design Team) with lots of blog candy and prizes! You do NOT want to miss this! It starts at my Bestie's blog, Mary @ Cardz TV, then hop over to my blog, then hop over to another Bestie, Lynn @ Boots and Bling Time, and continue on from there. I'll be giving away some Peachy Keen stamps to one lucky visitor! Come back tomorrow to see the entire stamp set and find out how to enter to win some Peachy Keen stamps from me (but Mary, Lynn, and some of the other ladies will also have some blog candy too!)

Hope you'll come to Facebook to our PLAY ALONG group and join in on making this BOX CARD WITH DAWN!

Have a GREAT day!
:) Janis

  1. Great Box Card! I used Dawn's video a while back to make one of these, mine was not near as nice as yours! Very nicely done! Thanks for playing on our street at 613 Avenue Create!
