Snowmen & Birdies

Hello again!  I was in the mood to make a SNOWMAN card today. It's currently SNOWING outside, and that makes me VERY HAPPY. I love the snow!  So.. let's see... over at our house we've got snow falling outside, clothes in the washer & dryer, chicken & rice cooking in the crock pot for supper, and some Cricut Snow cutting going on. Yep, sounds like a GREAT day over here. I hope you are having a FUN day in your part of the world too.

Project #311 of this year
Card base is pink cardstock from Recollections. Background snow glittery paper is from We R Memory Keepers cut @ 5 1/4" x 4". DOODLECHARMS used for Snowman, Snowballs, Snowflakes, and Heart. CREATE A CRITTER used to cut birds.  Carrot nose was cut freehand. Rhinestones for snowman belly, snowman eyes, and bird eyes are all from Recollections. Faux stitching around card base and to enhance cuts. Chalk added to mouth and cheeks. Ink added around edges of background paper.

Snowman cut @ 3 1/2" (Doodlecharms)

Birds cut @ 1 1/2 and 1" (Create A Critter)

Snowflakes cut @ 2 1/2"
Snowballs cut @ 1 1/2" and 1" (Doodlecharms)

Heart cut @ 1" (Doodlecharms)

  2. Janis,
I love your card. Why didn't I ever think to do a pink snowman card. Pink is my favorite color. I love the little bird sitting on the snowballs. You did a great job. I live in Florida and would love some snow - wanna trade for a while?
