Getting Cricky's Simple Sunday Challenge - TEA TIME!

Happy Sunday, and Welcome to Getting Cricky's Simple Sunday Challenge!
This challenge is TEA TIME - "the weather is getting cooler... create a project with a hot beverage theme: coffee, tea, hot chocolate..."

Project #307 of this year
I decided to make a wild colored card for today. I'm into that lately... using bright colors while everyone else is using Fallish colors.  That's okay. I'm using the Fall colors too, just wanted to be a little different today.

Teacup cut from KATE'S ABCs page 35 cut @ 4".

The steam swirls are actually the "waste" cuts from a design cut from STORYBOOK page 60 cut @ 2 1/2".

If you look at this cut, and the "negative" white space, you can see where I got the 2 swirls from for my teacup above...

Cool, huh?

The sentiment is actually 2 different stamps from K Andrew Designs "Coffee & Tea For You & Me" stamp set shown below:

Pop over to GETTING CRICKY and play along in our Simple Sunday Challenge!
Hugs! :) Janis

  7. Janis,
I love how you did the coffee cup and am extremely impressed with how you got the steam for your coffee. I don't think I'd have ever thought to do that. Great thinking outside the box.
