Neutral Stamped Card for My Pink Stamper Challenge!

Hi, everyone!
I'm excited because My Pink Stamper posted a color challenge today!
You can see her post and details HERE.
Take a look at what I came up with.

Almost everything on this card is from Stampin' Up!
  • Cardstock: Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, & Soft Suede
  • Inks: Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, & Soft Suede
  • Antique Button (this is an ivory button, but I dabbed some Soft Suede on it. If you try this be warned, ink will get all over your fingers. But that's okay. Artistic people usually do have ink on their fingers. That means they are being creative. :)
  • Natural colored jute (not SU)
  • Decorative papers from Neutral Stack (I took my 12x12 SU decorative papers to Office Depot a year or so ago and had them cut the stacks down to 6x6. Much mo betta to organize & store.)
Card base - Sahara Sand
Shadow mats & decorative papers - Soft Sude
Image mats - Sahara Sand

I stamped the bird twice. Once on the Sahara Sand mat, and once again on Crumb Cake. I cut out the one stamped on Crumb Cake and adhered it to the image matting with pop dots. Doing this allowed me to stamp the tall grass several times even on top of the bird knowing when I put the cut out bird on, the grass would appear behind him. I also used a sponge dauber to shade in the grass with Crumb Cake ink.

Go check out Robyn's My Pink Stamper blog and Facebook page and enter her challenge. It's fun!
Thanks for visiting with me today!
See you tomorrow!
