CASE Series #1, Bring on the Cake

Hi, everyone!
Here is a great birthday card you can add to your collection!
I had an idea. You know how I love sketches and card kits, right?
It occurred to me, why don't I go through the Stampin' Up catalog
and CASE some of the cards?
I can use stamp sets or die cuts and basically let their projects inspire me.
Even if my creation turns out exactly the same, a little differently, or morphs into something completely different, at least I started out with inspiration, and hopefully created something beautiful, simple, and enjoyable.
I used to love creating from scratch, but we all go through change and lately I just love simple designs. I'm loving card kits from Stampin' Up, and I'm loving Make-it-Now Cricut projects.
I think this is going to be fun. Let's roll with it!
We will call this the CASE (copy and share everything) Series.
This series will include inspiration not only from the Stampin' Up catalog,
but also from other crafter blogs (which I will link to),
Pinterest (very addicting and full of inspiration),
my favorite Facebook group Paper, Paper, Paper,
as well as other sources of inspiration.
Let's get started!
CASE Series #1
Source: Stampin' Catalog, page 5

  • EK Success Scallop Scallop border punch
  • My Favorite Things Die-namics Steel Dies, Stitched Circles
  • Doodlebug Design Inc 6x6 pad, Take Note
  • Stampin' Up Midnight Muse cardstock
  • Star, sequins, and jute from stash
  • Washi tape - I have no idea where this came from
  • Stampin' Up stamp set Bring on the Cake
  • Stampin Up ink Melon Mambo
  • Close To My Heart Ink Pacifica
There you have it! One simple yet fun birthday card.

I recently added to my collection the Stampin' Up Tin of Cards kit along with the Tin of Cards stamp set. The stamp set and ink pad I ordered came in, but the card kit is backordered.  Check out this kit. It comes with a decorative tin to store all the cards you create and dividers. The stamp set coordinates with the dividers (also includes sentiments) so you can label your sections with Birthday, Sympathy, Just Because, Thanks, Wedding, Congrats, Happy (love this one!), Misc, Hello, and Baby. It's a great set to have for so many things. Robyn (My Pink Stamper) is my SU Demo, so if you see anything on my blog you love, be sure to click the links to her store. You can even tell her Janis sent you if you want. I'll be CASE-ing some of her creations too. I love her style.

Thanks for visiting with me today!
See you tomorrow!
