Happy Wednesday!
It's been 6 months since I started Weight Watchers! If you joined me in January, then happy 6 months to you, and way to go! Keep stickin' with it!
If you'd like to join me in Weight Watchers, please use this link.
Today is also my 49th birthday. //throws confettii//
It's getting a little more challenging to lose weight these past few weeks, but I'm happy to report that my weigh in on Monday resulted in being down -0.2 pounds. Any loss is a good one. I'm happy with that! Total loss since the beginning of the year, -29.2 pounds! I'm thrilled I've stuck with this program consecutively for 6 months. I'm thrilled 29.2 pounds are forever gone. I'm confident the rest will continue to come off week by week, pound by pound, and you can have that same assurance following the Weight Watchers program diligently. Don't get sloppy measuring your portions or not writing down your points. (I'm telling myself that too. The battery on our kitchen scale has been dead for weeks. I have got to order some 3V batteries and get that replaced so I can start weighing my portions again. Hey - maybe that's been my problem these past few weeks with slow weight loss - I'm fluffing my portion size without that scale!) We've come this far together, let's keep it going!
If you want to make a change in your life, I encourage you to start today. Don't wait for Monday, or after this event or after that trip, etc. Start right now. Click on this link....

and find out how you can live a healthier life and reduce your risks of heart disease, diabetes, etc.
Just by losing 29 pounds, there have been many, many non-scale victories for me:

Just by losing 29 pounds, there have been many, many non-scale victories for me:
- I can cut my toenails without feeling like my gut is in my way
- I've purchased "cute" outfits that fit comfortably and make me feel prettier
- I'm able to sleep on my back without waking up in pain and having to roll over
- People compliment me on my weight loss
- My husband not only compliments me, but encourages me and tells me wonderful positive things about what I've accomplished so far
- This may sound silly, but I'm not constantly adjusting my pants or shirt that used to pull and slide in all the wrong places
- My face is thinner. I still have those awful baggy puffs under my eyes, but I don't think I look like a 49 year old and grandma of two.
- I can wear a bathing suit and go swimming IN PUBLIC without shame and embarrassment.
- My knees don't hurt so often anymore. Stairs used to be a challenge for me with my knees, but not so much anymore. I mean, I still have arthritis in my feet, knees, neck, and hands, but it's not so difficult and painful to go up and down stairs with less weight on my body.
There are many other moments that come to mind and make me smile, but you get the point.
If you have signed up with my Weight Watchers link, THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!
One more thing, I have decided to change my weigh-in day from Mondays to Fridays. My Weight Watchers posts will still go live on Wednesday so you can see how I'm doing, I'll just be weighing in behind the scenes on a different day.
I hope you guys enjoy the rest of your week and your July 4th weekend! Big Hugs!
:) Janis
