Don't you just love Wednesdays? That's when Cricut Cardz Challenge posts a new challenge for all of us to make a card with our Cricut! This week it's time for the team I'm on (Design Team #2) to provide some inspiration for the theme Mary's picked out... which this week is to make a
using any colors and Cricut cart you'd like.
I've decided to make a Birthday Card for a Grandma using a JOY-FOLD card base.
#181 |
All decorative papers are from DCWV "Vintage Collage Stack".
Black cardstock from Wausau Paper.
Heart cut on outside is from A CHILD'S YEAR page 30 cut @ 3 1/4".
Rose cut on inside is also from A CHILD'S YEAR page 39 cut @ 3 1/4".
The "happy birthday" clear stamp is from stash.
Here's how to make a JOY-FOLD card:
- Card base (left piece) is cut @ 7 3/4" x 4 1/4" and scored @ 2 1/4"
- Inside base (right piece) is cut @ 7 1/4" x 3 1/2" and scored @ 4"
- Cut 2 pieces @ 2" x 4" and one piece @ 5" x 4" for mats for LEFT part of card
- Cut 2 pieces @ 3 1/4" x 3" and one piece @ 3 3/4" x 3 1/4" for mats for RIGHT part of card
- Center & adhere Inside base (right piece) to inside of Card base (left piece)
- Embellish, decorate, and VOILA! 'Tis completed.
