Welcome to Wednesday which means it's a brand new challenge starting today over at CRICUT CARDZ CHALLENGE BLOG! Mary has asked Design Team #2 (ME!) to provide some inspiration for Ch#81 which is to make a COOK-OUT or PICNIC card using any Cricut cartridges & colors you'd like.
#167 |
Card base is cardstock paper from K & Company's Designer Paper, "Life's Little Occasions".
Bird & Grill cut from 3 BIRDS ON PARADE p.55 cut @ 4" with Shadow Feature.
(You know how I hate little pieces, so I cut the main image of the bird in orange instead of black so I wouldn't have to cut out his tiny beak, spatula & legs. I used a black Sharpie to color in his eye so it wouldn't be orange - because an orange eye looked kind of creepy. LOL) I also used some POP DOTS to make the BIRD & GRILL stand out from the background.
Sun cut from SIMPLY CHARMED p. 50 @ 1 1/2"
Background hills (grass) cut from PLANTIN SCHOOL BOOK p. 69 using Shift & ROLY POLY Feature @ 1 1/2" and trimmed to fit the card horizontally.
Green grass blades cut from same page using main image @ 1".
Papers for sun and grass layers from *K & Company, "Berry Sweet" and *some from stash.
Hop over to CRICUT CARDZ CHALLENGE and play along with us! It's FUN!
