FALL PAPER BAG ALBUM

Here is a Fall Paper Bag Album I made this week.
I used regular brown paper bags and trimmed the opening side down to 7".
I followed a tutorial for this one.
to see scrapfroggy530 tell you how to make one of these for yourself.
I think what I like about this the most is
the chipboard covers!  Thanks, scrapfroggy530!  I would have never thought of that!
All papers used are from K & Company the Pumpkin Patch.
All 3-D embellies are from K & Company.
The stickers are from stash.

On the cover here, you'll notice ribbon used instead of binding rings.
The book is securely glued together on it's own.  It does not need any ribbon or binding rings to hold it together.  I just did this for looks.  I used the ribbon because when I put in the binding rings, it made it way to tight and difficult to open the pages.
The ribbon adds some decoration, and the pages open easily with them there.

On these pages - the orange photo mat is slipped inside the yellow tab down the side and easily pulls out.  The smaller part of the bag here between the pages, was made into a pocket to hold the yellow card with an apple tag for pulling it out the pocket.

Again here the small bag piece between these 2 pages is a pocket with a photo mat that easily pulls out with this pumpkin tab.

We plan on using this album for memorabilia.
We will put brochures, tickets, postcards, etc in the paper bag pockets from our exploring Houston, Texas this Fall.  Since we just moved here from Georgia, I'm sure it won't take long for us to fill up this bag with things we want to remember from our adventures.

I want to get the Cricut Cartridge, 50 STATES. I saw it is on sale at DIE CUT CENTRAL for $19.99.  Wow!  I can't do that right now though.  Soon.  I have so many carts on my wish list. LOL  Do you guys make wish lists like that too?

I think it would be neat to use that cart for the state flag, state shape, etc.  And then when we move to Alaska next year, we can use it for that sort of thing again.

Everybody have a safe and fun weekend!
Hugs!
:) Janis
