OH MY GOSH!
Lookie, lookie what surprise I had in my mailbox Saturday from a very wonderful friend!!!!

I have been wanting Everyday Paper Dolls FOREVER.
Every time I see you guys make something with it, I just drool.
This fisherman was the main reason I wanted it so bad, so of course it was the first cut I used!
I'll try to mix in some cards from other carts among the projects I make with EDPD, but it may be really hard to do. LOL
This is my submission for Cricut Cardz Challenge - Father's Day Card.
Card base Kraft cardstock cut @ 5 1/4" x 11" and folded in half (regular A2 size card)
Papers from scraps - but probably DCWV Flower Shower Spring Stack & Recollections
Cricut Cartridge: GIVE A HOOT
Yellow Sun page 64 cut @ 3 1/2"
Orange Sun page 64 cut @ 2 1/2"
Cricut Cartridge: EVERYDAY PAPER DOLLS
Fisherman and accessories page 70 all cut @ 4"
Googlie eyes!
Accents with Black Ultra Fine Sharpie and White Gel Pen
I LOVE THIS CARTRIDGE!!!

ReplyDeletetoo cute Janis!!!
ReplyDeleteblessings!
Janis, you are so funny, I have not seen a cart, that you have not loved!!! will be waiting for your next project. and what a wonderful friend you have!
ReplyDeleteCarol<><
LOL @ Carol. I do LOVE most of my carts, but there are some I don't love. I don't love Indie Art. I don't love Home Accents. :) I'm having tons of fun with EDPD right now. I was the same way with Paper Pups - I made a card with all the doggie cuts on that one. :) Janis
ReplyDeleteThis is just adorable. The paper colors are so vivid. You did a fantastic job on this card. Enjoy your cartridge and thanks for joining us at CCC.
ReplyDeleteSo, move over Create-a-Critter, you're being overshadowed by EDPD!!!! LOL I just love your Fisherman card. It is just awesome!! Perfect for a Father's Day card!!! And how super sweet of your friend to send you this cart!! :)
ReplyDeleteoh that's so cute, and how very nice of your friend to send it to you!

Jeri - Thank you!
ReplyDeleteSharon - LOL Yep, CAC has been shelved for EDPD, for now anyway. :)
Holly - Thanks! Yepper, she's a sweet friend!
Stephenie - Yep, he's caught his limit. I had one other little fishy ready, but couldn't find a place to squeeze him on the card. I thought about trying to put him sticking out of one of his vest pockets, but he was too big. :)
Carrie - I need to go see what you've made with EDPD!
Chris - Thanks!
THis is a cute father's day card...I've been wanting that cart for awhile now too...maybe it'll be next on my list! :) tfs
