My friend, Tara @ Craftin' Desert Diva's, has a Linky Party going on and this time the theme is "Peacock Colors." 

I used Spellbinders Lacy Ovals and Regular Ovals for the image matting and adhered that with 2 thicknesses of foam tape for dimension.

Peacock is from Lettering Delights - a Print and Cut from my Cameo.
Some lavender pearls were added to the feathers (these were found in the dollar bin at Michaels!)

Background was embossed with my Cuttlebug.

Sentiment from Cardz TV Stamps "Thankful for You."
It was inked with Close To My Heart "Pacifica," and placed on layered Stampin' Up punches using the Modern Label Punch.

USE IT TUESDAY Ch# 54 Flowers For Mom

***REMEMBER: 

All of Use It Tuesday's challenges call for you to use your hoarded supplies! 

A challenge requirement is to tell us in your post what you used!***

For this challenge, I decided to use a Lori Whitlock SVG file with my Cameo.

It's a darling PURSE FOLD CARD.

The SVG file includes:

• The purse fold card shape
• perforation for the fold lines (which makes folding so easy!)
• Purse handle
• Cuts for the pattern papers for the oustide
• Cut for the button

For the inside writing mat, I simply took the outside pattern cut and changed the size to just a little smaller and cut it again, adhering this smaller mat to the inside for my message.

I can see myself making lots of these purse cards!!

I used all papers from Walmart - it's the Colorbok "Beach House" Signature Collection. This pack includes 50 double sided pattern papers, and they are all gorgeous! 

Flowers on the front are my HOARDED supply. These flowers are over 2 years old, but still lookin' good! Brad is Recollections. Button from TSQ FB Shop. (I got my magnets from there too!)

I slipped a magnet under the button on the purse flap and another under the pattern paper for the front of the purse. So now my purse "snaps" closed. Love it!

Outside and inside mats are all inked with Close to My Heart "Pear" ink. It's a beautiful, rich color!

Cardz TV Stamps "Good Friends" used for the sentiment also inked and stamped with the Pear ink.

here today to show you a project using the CraftWork Cards CANDI product.

Hmmm.... Papers all laid out.  What's it going to be?

I decided to use a new cut file I purchased from Miss Kate Cuttables with my Cameo to make an OUT OF THIS WORLD card to show you today.  Are you ready?

•  A2 size card 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" Stampin' Up Gumball Green card base
• White cardstock mat 5 1/4" x 4"
• Green wavy pattern paper (from Colorbok "Light Bright") 5 3/8" x 4 1/8"
• Miss Kate Cuttables "Out of this World" SVG cut files
• Hobby Lobby Star punch
• Craftwork Cards CANDI "Metallic Crushed Ice" adhered with Candi Fix foam squares for dimension
• UFO and Planet adhered with 2 thicknesses of foam tape for dimension

Hello, Sunshine Gnome Step Card

Happy Saturday!

My husband had to order something from Amazon this week, and since we have a PRIME membership (free shipping and get it in 2 days), I thought I'd go ahead and add some paper into the order. :) Shhh.... And I got it today!

Have I mentioned lately that I LOVE my Cameo? 

Today I'm making a card using this cut from the Silhouette Online Store for a Step Card.

This file ($0.99) comes with:

** The card base and score lines for easy folding

**Fence to fit

**House and all the house detail cuts

** trees

** paper cuts sized to fit each of the sections (I love that they think to do that for us)

Since I had room on my mat, and I love fence cuts, I went ahead and put CTMH Lagoon cardstock on the mat for the card base, the yellow pattern paper for the card matting (from Echo park "Sweet Girl" stack), and some white cardstock at the bottom for some fence cuts to add to my stash of pre-cuts. 

Cool, huh?

Recently, I took advantage of a $1.00 sale going on at Lettering Delights. 

They have tons of SVG cut files on sale for $1.00 and each file has multiple cuts in the set! How cool is that?! That's my kind of shopping.

One of the $1.00 SVG cut sets I bought was "Good Luck Gnomes." 

Look at all you get for $1.00! WOW!

I just checked, and the $1 sale is still going on right now. Not sure when it will end, but I think it's very soon.

Here are my cuts I thought I might use from the Gnome set.

Voila! Adorable! I didn't end up using the rabbit on this card, but he's in my stash now, so I'll grab him to use for another time. All solid papers are from CTMH.

 Ready to see how it turned out? 

Sentiment matting is cut using Stampin' Up "Modern Label" punch. (Love this punch!)

Sentiment paper and ink are both CTMH "Cranberry."

Everything was inked around the edges with either Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink or Walnut Stain. The sentiment was inked with Stampin' Up "Soft Suede." Buttons from Joann's.
