Anna Griffin... Thank You So Very Much

I got in the Anna Griffin Floral Impressions Card Making Kit late last week and was able to play with it a little bit yesterday. What a BEAUTIFUL collection! Everything coordinates so well, that you can put anything together and it looks like it was made to go that way. :)

I can't wait to explore this kit more. The card I made first was something I saw on the Anna Griffin Facebook page. 

I layered 2 of the butterflies together with rolled glue dots just in the center and folded up the wings. All the other embellishments and sentiment on this card was already triple layered together. The card base is 5"x 7". Then I embossed the pink layer with the Cuttlebug "Romance" folder, and added the top grayish layer. Next I put the butterflies, 3 roses, and the sentiment on. So easy. It was done in 5 minutes or less. You'll be seeing more of these cards from me! I also plan on using some of these gorgeous embellishments on my calendar pages and scrapbook layouts.

Happy Saturday! Today we are going to be outside playing in the yard. Tom (my hubbub) is going to be doing some masonry work getting our outdoor entertainment area started. :) I plan on sitting in the camping chair in the sunshine watching. :) Maybe reading a little bit too.

I have several zippies (zip lock bags) filled with cuts such as fences, grasses, clouds, suns, etc. These are some items I use a LOT and just cut them out on 12x12 cardstock at a time. I put a ticket in the zippie and write on the back the page number, Cricut cartridge, and size of cut.

And what in the WORLD did we do before FOAM TAPE? Oh my gosh! So much easier than using pop dots and foam squares that are always too small or too big.
