Anxious People

by Fredrik Backman

My favorite book of all time is "A Man Called Ove" by Fredrik Backman. The book I'm talking about today, Anxious People, is the 2nd book I've read by the same author. Oh my gosh. I loved it! 💕

All the characters, their individual stories, how the lives of the characters overlapped with other characters... all pieced together bit by bit and lots of "ohhhhh" moments.

So good. Read it. You won't regret it.

The One

by John Marrs

Here we are again!

I started the ebook version on Feb 7 and quickly decided I needed the Audiobook instead. LOL I put a hold on it, and it was available to me to re-start on Feb 23.

Good book. Good idea for a story. I loved all the different character stories going on at the same time and "visiting each one to catch up" in-between all the other character stories going on. 

I could have done without some of the content. But I blame that on our culture these days.

I also didn't like all the people that died at the end. Some of the characters had happy or happy-ish endings, but some were killed off. I suppose I'm just the kind of person that loves a good ending, happy ending, everything is gonna be alright ending..... but again, they can't all be like that. 

Still, really good book. Great idea for a story. Would love to read more as in a series for this... maybe with more happy tales. :)

Mrs. Moto Meows About Murder

by Ellen Jacobson

This book was read in about an hour. It's a freebie from the Author and sadly is not yet on Goodreads so I can count is there as one of my books read toward my goal. :(

It is a cute book. I enjoyed "hearing" the different animal voices in the eBook. Cute story. Loved the cat attitude. It was very simple to read, almost like a children's book. But it was cute, and funny, and only took an hour, so not a waste of my time. 

If you just want something to read without a lot of deep thought, here ya go. Or maybe you want an hour of thinking about something other than all the things you should be doing instead of reading.  This will be a good choice for you.

The Bad Weather Friend

by Dean Koontz

Well, this was a fun book. I laughed and enjoyed it. Definitely something different and fun for a change. I also really enjoyed how the author would pause the story to give us advice and suggestions.  

Things like:

*If you are in a book club, you may want to have a discussion about this part.

*In case you missed it, this could be foreshadowing. Okay. It is. It's foreshadowing. You may want to remember that later when it comes up again.

A Deadly Course

(A Sugarbury Falls Mystery #1)

I liked this book. It was fast paced, lots of fun characters, suspects, and just plain enjoyable read. Plus it's always fun to try to guess who did it and why. I'm going to have to read more in this series. 💕
