Challenge Myself: Annual Catalog Makes
I decided over the weekend, that I was going to challenge myself to create some of the beautiful project examples in the current Stampin' Up Annual Catalog.
Keep in mind, I don't have everything this catalog has to offer, but I feel like I can improvise with retired products or even products in my stash from other awesome companies as well.
Now, before some of you get offended or shocked that I would even MENTION using products from other companies, let me say, I love Stampin' Up. I've been a customer with them since the early 90's. I've even been a demo a few times now and then to use my own discount to stock up on things. That being said, there are many other awesome companies out there as well who offer great products. I have a variety of products I've collected over the decades, and I enjoy them all.
Today's card is on page 5 of the SU Annual Catalog. (I slightly modified it on my creation.)

I love the blues on this card, and that diamond background die!!
- Balmy Blue A2 card base 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
- Basic White for die cut background & adhered with liquid glue
- Retired Triple Banner Punch to punch out 2 banners using Awash in Beauty DSP
- Sentient stamped using Polished Pink ink onto Basic White cardstock
- Cherries were punched out using Hues of Happiness DSP, one leaf was punch out using Old Olive cardstock
- Punched out cherry pieces were inked around the edges using sponge daubers and inks Polished Pink & Old Olive
