PDE Ch# 23 Circles

Hi, everyone!
As I type up this post, it's March of this year even though this won't go live until June.

My Daddy died earlier this year on January 10th. I've been putting off adding things to the scrapbook about his passing. It's not something I want to dwell on, but it's also important to document things like this for future generations. Plus, I wanted to honor him with some scrapbook pages, photos, and notes about his life. It was really hard going through old photos to pick 2 for a scrapbook page. Stirs up pain, emotions, and just sadness inside. I ended up choosing a photo of him and my Mama from 1963 and one of them from 2009. I realize that was 9 years ago, but it's when they were both still active traveling and having a good time. I'll add some personal text to this page for the scrapbook, but didn't want to include that in the photo publicly for this post. The layout design was something I saw in Google images. I have no idea who designed it. I changed a few things, but it's basically the same layout idea. Hope you will enjoy my Memories Scrapbook page.

See layout with photos below

I saved the cut file in Cricut Design Space. You can create this page HERE.

Cricut cartridge cuts index:
Bracket border - Close To My Heart, Artiste
Circle, Rectangles, Hearts - Shapes
Scallop Circle - Florals Embellished
Banner - Bits & Pieces
Ric Rak border - Creative Cards

Cardstock - Bazzil, Colorbok
Pattern Papers - Close To My Heart (some from Jack - others from scraps)

My Mama is holding my older sister as a baby in the 1963 photo.
In the 2009 photo, this was from one of their trips.
They loved driving up to the mountains on the weekends.

Thanks for visiting with me today, and sharing in the memory of my Daddy.
This was really hard for me to create. I'm hoping to make a few more pages, but not today. I think I'll give it a little longer before I do this again.
