Blow Out The Candles!

Good morning! Today is our son-in-law's birthday! Woo-Hoo! I wanted to show you the Matchbook Birthday Card I made for him.

 

Matchbook Card Details:

• Cardstock base cut @ 4 1/4" x 11
• Scored @ 4 3/4" and 10"
• Front:
• Checkered strip cut @ 4" x 3/4"
• Brads from Recollections Brown assortment pack 
• Bottom of card slips under top sleeve to keep it closed, but opens easily
• Checkered mat cut @ 4" x 4"
• Blue mat cut @ 3 3/4" x 3 3/4"
• Kraft mat cut @ 3 5/8" x 3 5/8"
• CARDZ TV STAMPS:
• "Make A Wish" for "Blow out the candles!" stamp
• "For the Birds" for "A little Birdie told me it's your Birthday!" stamp
• Both inked with Memento Tuxedo Black ink
• COUNTRY LIFE:
• Weather Vane p. 71 cut @ 3 3/4"
• Wooden gemstone added from Hobby Lobby
• Fuzzy string is American Crafts Premium Ribbon
• Tiny black rhinestone added for chicken eye from Recollections
• INSIDE:
• Red mat cut @ 4" x 4"
• Blue mat cut @ 3 3/4" x 3 3/4"
• Kraft mat cut @ 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"
• CARDZ TV STAMPS:
• "Make A Wish" for "Happy Birthday" and "Eat Cake" stamps
• Both inked with Memento Tuxedo Black ink
• Everything inked around the edges with Tim Holtz Tea Dye distress ink
