Welcome to another Queen Of My Craftroom Sunday Challenge!
For this challenge, Michelle is challenging us to make Valentine Treat Projects. Hmm.... I think I have an idea!
How about some Sour Cream Containers filled with Valentine Treats instead of sour cream?
Projects #45 and 46 of this year |
5 1/2" x 4 1/4 starting size before folding |
4" x 4" starting size before folding |
I found this link with instructions and pictures of how to make these....
Basically you just start with a sheet of decorative paper or cardstock. Add adhesive and roll it into a toilet paper roll looking tube. Squeeze one end together, roll it in the crimper for a few turns, add treats inside, then adhere the other end at an angle to the first end. Roll it through the crimper for a few turns also.
Add embellishments as you are inspired.
I used papers from DCWV Love & Wedding Scrapbook Kit in a Stack.
DOODLECHARMS used for Hearts with Scallop shadows p. 85 cut @ 1" and 1 1/2"
I used 2 of the heart stickers from the DCWV Love & Wedding kit and stuck them to pink and dark pink cardstock then cut around them to give them some sturdiness and shadows like the Doodlecharms hearts.
The hearts were stamped with various stamps from a couple different stamp sets, but all from Mary's CARDZ TV STAMPS.
"Kiss me", "Be mine", and the solid Heart stamp are all from the "HUGS & KISSES" set.
"X's & O's" is from the "Encouraging Thoughts" set.
Lace, twine, and fibers are from stash (probably from Joann's or Michael's.)
I'm also entering this into the USE PINK challenge at...
Have a fun, creative day!
Smiles :) Janis
