Project #352 of this year |
Can you believe it? I'm up to Project #352 of this year! I'm almost at 365 projects for 365 days! Woo-Hoo!
One of my favorite things about this card is the wide bow. Most of my ribbon is not as wide as this. I don't know why. This is my favorite width for ribbon, but it seems when I buy ribbon I always buy what's on sale or the cheaper rolls which are 99% of the time, not this wide. This ribbon was actually given to me from a friend. I've used the last of it here on this card. Here's a tip about ribbon you may or may not already know....
It's a good idea to get a lighter and quickly touch the flame to the cut edges of the ribbon. This will melt the ends and not allow them to fray. Don't go crazy. Don't catch your card on fire or anything.
A2 size card ( 5 1/2" x 4 1/4")
Background papers from K&Co. The Best of Brenda Walton.
Ribbon from a friend.
Bird cut from 3 BIRDS ON PARADE (This is a GREAT cart if you don't already have it!)
Bird with Snowball cut @ 3 1/2" from page 62.
"Frosty Fun" stamp from K Andrew Designs "Winter Wishes" set.
Snowball fight! You're it!

ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun cartridge to use for the winter season. I need to get it out again since I used for a hop this summer. Great job.
ReplyDeleteHope you will stop by when you get a chance. I just posted some new cards I made. I am no where near 350 projects though. : )
