Mad Scientist

Hello, everyone! Hope you are having a great.... what day is it?..... HUMP DAY!!!

On a personal note...

I took our daughter, Bonnie, today to get her hair cut. Her hair was really long down her back almost to her waist. She was watching Men in Black over the weekend and said she wanted the haircut of the lady that works in the morgue on that movie - in other words, a BOB.

Look at all this hair that got chopped off! It was about 10 inches! YIKES!

Bonnie is so CUTE!!!!!

Remolding Photo Update

I'll be back in a little while with some crafting posts, but I never showed you the finished painted ceiling last week before we left for vacation.

Here's a reminder of the white.....

And here's the painted ceiling finished.

The trim is NOT finished being painted, but I think you get the idea.

Ignore the unpainted drywall at the end of the hall and all the boxes for the light fixtures we bought last week and hung up. I say we... I really mean Tom. He worked his but off to get all the painting and light fixtures assembled and hung before we left for vacation. I'm so thankful I have such a great husband!

And in case you are wondering and didn't see an earlier post a week or so ago about it....  All of those Christmas trees on the side of the frig are Bonnie's Christmas countdown. She takes one off every day counting down to Christmas. :)

I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL WE GET OUR FLOORING PUT IN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Friends make life BEAR-able!

Happy Labor Day! What are you doing? We are having a good day. Tom & Bonnie played X-Box "Mind Craft" for a while this morning. It's so fun to watch them play. While they were doing that I was taking everything off of the built-in bookshelves in the den and re-organizing / cleaning up the mess from the grand kids. I'm not complaining. I love organizing and sorting. It was getting pretty messy. Not just from the grand kids though, I have been stacking books up there and squeezing them in places. It was time to get all of that straightened back out so we could actually see what our reading choices are.

Now Tom is caulking the trim in the hall getting it ready to be painted and Bonnie is playing a racing game. I did some online SVG shopping this morning. Miss Kate Cuttables has a daily Freebie and Daily Specials and I filled up my cart with tons of stuff there.
