Merry Christmas, everyone!
May God Bless You, keep you safe, and provide for all your needs in the coming year.
Here are some little treats I made for all the children and grandchildren. I threw a big one in there for Tom too. LOL
The cut file is from the Silhouette store, but I can not find it or remember what it's called. I've had it a while, so looking through my recent downloads doesn't help at all. I do remember the file did NOT come with the pattern paper size cuts. I did those by hand. These are stuffed with candy. Because everyone needs to load up on sugar on Christmas morning, right?
What are y'all doing today?
Everyone is coming here first thing in the morning.
Open presents; play BINGO with White Elephant gifts, snack on sweet sugary goodies, then half the family will leave to go to visit their significant others' families, while some stay for a Vegan lunch. We are having a VERY simple Christmas this year. Like last year, our gifts are all hand-made or extremely inexpensive or from Goodwill or other type of thrift store. It's not about the money spent. It's about spending time with family. We plan on playing lots of games like Pictionary, Uno, Phase Ten, Family Feud, etc. Can't wait. We always have so much fun playing games!
I said above that Christmas is about Family. But let me be clear. Christmas is truly about celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ who ultimately paid for our sins so that we would be seen as righteous through the blood of Jesus and welcomed into heaven even though we don't deserve eternity with God. That's how much He loves us.
Enjoy your family, your friends, your holiday. If you are alone this Christmas, please know you are not really alone. Others care for you and love you. Sometimes it's hard to travel and see you, and sometimes we lose loved ones during the year that can't visit. I'm really missing my Mama who passed away a few months ago. I keep wanting to mail her a card. She loved getting my cards in the mail. Not because they are awesome or anything like that, she has always loved mailing cards and receiving them. Don't we all?
Merry Christmas.
I'm praying for each one of you reading my blog today. I may not know you visited if you don't leave a comment, but God knows who you are. Be blessed.
Christmas hugs and Candy Cane kisses,
:) Janis
