Watercolor Technique

Hello all my bloggy and crafty friends!
I saw a fellow Stampin' Up Demo do this and knew I wanted to give it a try.
You'll need Watercolor paper, some ink refills, and an Aqua Painter.

Here's My Project Recipe
Project Name
 Watercolor Thank You
Stamp Sets:
  • 122667 Little Friends (sentiment)
  • 127324 Serene Silhouettes (images)
Ink:
  • 115663 Soft Suede Ink Refill
  • 131167 Strawberry Slush Ink Refill
Paper:
  • 114323 Watercolor Paper
  • 121045 Basic Black

  • 100730 Whisper White
Accessories:
  • 103954 Aqua Painter
  • 129053 Heat Tool (optional)
Adhesives:
  • 104332 Snail
Technique:
  • Use the Aqua Painter to wet the surface of the Watercolor Paper where you'd like to add color
  • Carefully drop a very small amount of ink from your ink refill bottle
  • Use the Aqua Painter to spread out the color where you want it. You can even blend it into the next color easily.
  • Optional - use your Heat Tool to set the ink (dry it)
  • After the Watercolor Paper is fully dry, stamp any images and maybe even a sentiment where desired
