Flower Layered Card

Hi, everyone! Today I have a multi-layered flower card to share with you using my Cricut.

Pebbles, Garden Party, 6x6 pattern paper pad

To create the front layered mats, my friend, Kimberly, had to help me figure out how to do this in the Cricut Design Space. I pulled in 2 additional card bases and re-sized them a bit smaller, then cut a little below the score line since I only needed the front of the card portion, layered and adhered. If anyone knows how I can cut or slice just the piece below the score line instead of cutting out the entire card base, please let me know. There are things I know how to do with the Silhouette that I have not learned how to do in Cricut Design space yet.

Sentiment on inside is from Pink & Main, Believe Script stamp set.

I love how the Cricut handles layers. Everything just lays on top of each other and fits where it's suppose to instead of adding bits and pieces of tiny cuts.

Not all Cricut cuts end up this thick, but every now and then it is fun to have what feels like a chipboard cut when you are finished.

The envelope that came with this Make It Now project is created more like a box envelope to handle the thickness of this card, so no worries there.

Cricut Make It Now Project - Anna Griffin's Lovely Layers Rose Card

Hi, everyone!

I grabbed a Make It Now card from the Cricut online stash to share with you today.

It also comes with an envelope cut file.

I love the layering. 

This card feels huge to me because I'm use to working with A2 size cards.

This one measures about 5 1/2" x 5 1/2".

And it's thick with all the layers, but I like that.
