Christmas Kisses

Hi, everyone! I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving and weekend. I'll show you my project for today first, and then if you have too much time on your hands, you can continue reading and looking at photos from our weekend.

Here's what happened at our house over the last few days....

Thursday - Thanksgiving - Kati came over and helped me cook a nice meal for just Tom, Bonnie, Kati & I. We made way too much food.

Friday - Bought some flooring for the new Master Bathroom, put up the Christmas Tree, and just relaxed.

Saturday - Got a call first thing in the morning that our daughter had hit a deer. The car may be totaled. No way to know that yet until they take a look at everything, but if the frame got damaged, it's probably totaled.  Then Tom, Bonnie & I headed over to his brother, Bill's, where we had another feast while watching the Carolina / Clemson game with all their kids and grandkids. We lost the football game, but it was still a great time.

Sunday - grocery shopping, yard cleanup and burned tons of fallen limbs and leaves in the backyard. Keri & Kevin came over. Kevin & Bonnie played in the dirt. Kevin (our 5 year old grandon) said he was going to dig a hole to China. He didn't quite make it that far though.  Later on we ate supper and watched a movie.

Lots of Christmas Tags

Hi, everyone! I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving. Today I have a load of Christmas Tags to share with you. Two of the tags were stamps I colored that I showed you earlier this month, but they are mixed in the photo of some more stamps I wanted to share with you today.

Just as a reminder... the 2 colored stamps are from Pretty Cute Stamps - Cool Chick.

Below you will find all the links to the other image files. Except for the 2 colored stamps, everything else is a print and cut file.

The tag bases were created using My Favorite Things Stitched circle nesting dies. I love those dies! I'm going to give you all the links to the different files below. If you need a lot of tags, and really want to hand make them, using the print and cut feature and your Big Shot is a great way to go.

Grateful Boy

Hi, everyone! I'm back again today with another card using a Bugaboo image. This one was colored with Prisma Pencils and the background with chalks.

Did you know when you look at images in the Bugaboo store, they sometimes have sample projects on that page to show you the image in action?  I love visiting the store and seeing cards I've posted in the past. They have another one of my cards (linked to the blog post here on my blog) using this image. I think that is so cool! Thank you, Bugaboo!

Happy Harvest

I can't believe Thanksgiving is just a few days away! We normally participate in a large family gathering, eat until we're stuffed, play football or redneck horshoes, play board games, and laugh, laugh, laugh. This year is going to be different. This year it will just be Tom, Bonnie, and me with our daughter, Kati, coming over. Kati & I have big plans to create a 3D Christmas Village for displaying in our homes using lots of cut files from the Silhouette store. I'm excited about it! I've never created a 3D Christmas Village out of paper before, so I told Kati it's possible we'll get tons done, or it's possible I'll get so frustrated it will all end up in the trash. Either way, Kati is coming over to craft with me, and I'm excited about that!! But I digress... let's get on to my project for today.

  • My Favorite Things Sketch #255
  • My Favorite Things Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle Dies (love their dies!)

Tic Tac Treats

Hi, everyone! I hope you have fabulous plans for this weekend. Today I wanted to share with you some Tic Tac treats I made.

There are actually 6 files in this Treasure Box Designs set, but I only made 5 of them. That's all the Tic Tacs I had! LOL They were fun, and came together easily. The hardest part was picking out what papers I wanted to use. I went to my scrapdrawer for all the image pieces, and tried to use up some old 6x6 pads for the boxes.

Submitted:
Always Playing with Paper - photo inspiration (I used the food theme - tic tacs are food, right?)
Glitter 'n Sparkle - add a die cut (box and images are all die cuts)

Cookies Tag - Guest Designer for Pink & Main

Hi, everyone! I am so excited to be Guest Designing for Pink & Main this month!

This tag was created using one of their newest stamp sets, "Cookies." I'm a true beginner at coloring stamps, but really these stamps are just cute without any coloring at all.

Can you smell the fresh baked cookies? They are peanut butter with chocolate chips. Mmmm.
