Argh, Matey! Say BOO & Scary On

Hi!
What have you guys been doing lately?

If you missed it, Craftin Desert Divas is having her
Sneak Peeks & Blog Hops this week for her September
Stamp Release. I was part of the Sneak Peek yesterday
(scroll down to see my project!) and be sure to visit
Craftin Desert Divas today too to see more DT projects
and sneak peeks.
Then tomorrow I'll be part of Blog Hop Day 1, but
there is also another blog hop with different DT members on Saturday.
Lots of prizes and specials, so be sure to check it all out!

I am so excited to see on Craftin Desert Divas's post today
that the winner picked from yesterday's comments
was chosen from my blog!
Thank you all who visited me yesterday and left me comments!
Go see if you were the winner!
Woo-Hoo! You just never know which blog Tara will choose
the winner from, so be sure to leave comment love
on all the DT blogs for a better chance to win!

You probably know how much Tom & I enjoy reading.
I got a NOOK a few years ago and loved it, but this year
Tom got us both a Kindle Fire.
LOVE IT!
We are currently enjoying the 30-day FREE TRIAL
of the Kindle Unlimited program.
So far this week I've listened to 2 audio books
(have them playing on my desk while I craft)
and some of the other books (non-audio).

Here's what I've been reading lately:

Movies are fun too!
We normally watch a couple of movies a week if not more.
Here's what we've seen lately:
(one of these was a complete time waster)

So....... onto a crafty project for today!

I saw the theme at Die Cuttin Divas and couldn't wait to play along!
PIRATES!

Here is my paper bag puppet
(Captain Hook)

I thought how fun this would be to give to our grandson, Kevin,
with some Halloween Candy inside, and then he could play with
the puppet!

I've got so many paper bags - I NEED to start using them more!

Silhouette ID# 55861 - Captain Hook

Everything inked around the edges with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain

Foam square used to adhere nose for dimension

Silhouette ID# 11696 - set of 6 banners
I created a shadow for the banner piece using the Offset feature

Craftin Desert Divas - Ghostly Greetings stamp set
This set is one of the sets being featured today over at
and will be available for purchase starting Saturday!
Be sure to visit
for the specials, freebies, and sale codes for this weekend!

Here's a close-up of  the sentiment.

Long post, I know, but I sure do appreciate you hanging in there with me until the end.

Enjoy your day!
Big hugs!!
