CARDZ TV STAMPS

Okay, so I have to admit... this was a hard challenge for me. I couldn't think of an object to cut out with these colors. But then I saw my Design Team Sister's OWL card (that would be Michelle @ Purple Monkey Moments) and I thought - I can cut ANY object I want and just make it these colors. It doesn't have to make sense. It doesn't have to mimic nature. This is art! I'm free! I could have a purple sunshine if I wanted it. And that, my friends, is why....
  1. I love being on different design teams because the DT sisters are so amazingly talented
  2. I love visiting challenge blogs and seeing what everyone is creating and submitting, and then I like to play along myself!
So... I hope you all will play along with us. Make something creative, different, and all YOU. We can't wait to see what you submit! Have fun! Smiles!

One more thing before I go.....
For an added chance to win a set of Cardz TV Stamps, make sure you check closely all the wonderful Design Team's cards because one of them is giving you a sneak peek of a NEW stamp set that we'll be releasing in our upcoming blog hop in September! Check out the button on the sidebar for the dates! To have your name enetered to win a set of Cardz TV Stamps, leave a comment under MARY'S post giving the name of the Design Team member AND the name of the new stamp set. Mary will use random.org to pick a winner, and announce that winner on Friday, August 24! Good luck!

Happy Friday! Don't you just love Fridays? Today is the start of a brand new challenge at

Our Sponsor this challenge is

Clear Dollar Stamps!
http://cleardollarstamps.com/
Clear Dollar Stamps is offering a $5 Gift Certificate to their store!

Here is the project I created for this week's challenge. It's another tag for my mini tag book this year. I'm making tags with all the challenge themes and answering each week's question on the back. They are all together with a binding ring. It's fun to go back to January and read the questions and answers. It's also fun to see whatever crafting embellishment or item I was into at that time. LOL

Project #351 of this year
Yes, I know the water is crooked. //sigh// But when I tried to pick it up to re-position it, the paper started to tear, so I said the heck with it... it's art... just go with it! LOL  Hey, at least it adds some character and personality to the tag. :)
  • ELEGANT EDGES "Swirl 2" p. 39 cut @ 4 1/2" with Oblong & Shadow features
  • CREATE A CRITTER Sun p. 52 cut @ 1"
  • CREATE A CRITTER Grass p. 44 cut twice @ 1" and once @ 1 1/2"
  • CREATE A CRITTER Water p. 44 cut @ 1 1/2" and I added a scrap piece of white cardstock to the back to show through where it cuts the waves
  • LIFE IS A BEACH Flamingo p. 46 cut @ 3"
  • Black rhinestone added for Flamingo's eye
  • CARDZ TV STAMPS "It's All About You" stamp set for sentiment stamp
Come play with us! We want to see your FLAMINGO or PINK projects this week.
Smiles :) Janis

Thanks for stopping by today! See you again tomorrow. Don't forget, if you want the FREE code that will number your comments for you (if you use blogger), my husband, Tom,  wrote HTML code to do that, and it works with the updated blogger. Click HERE to visit my post about that, get the code, and see step by step photo instructions of how to add it to your blog. It sure does make it easier when using random.org to pick a winner and not having to count the comments.

Smiles! :) Janis
