Project #379 of this year
Happy Saturday!
I'm so excited! I'm hoping to get a Cricut Imagine in January, and I've been searching for projects made by others who already have one.  A very good friend of mine asked if I wanted her to send me a few cuts using the Imagine for me to play with. (She got one right after Thanksgiving.) I said, "YES!" So I made this card and the one I'm going to show you tomorrow using Cricut Imagine cuts that she sent me. My friends are so sweet!

A2 size card ( 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" )
The front of the card is folded back onto itself to create the Z Fold or S Fold card.
Solid blue paper from Recollections.
Background pattern blue paper from DCWV Winter Combo mat stack.
Stocking from Cricut IMAGINE's SNOW ANGEL cart.

Buttons from Hobby Lobby.
"Peace, Love, Joy" stamp from CARDZ TV STAMPS, "Home For Christmas" set.

Happy Holidays

Project #362 of this year
Kraft card base.
Background papers from DCWV Winter mat stack from about 2 years ago.
3 BIRDS ON PARADE for Birdie hanging lights cut @ 3 1/2" page 44.
I cheat a little with these cartridge cuts. I usually cut out the birdies in yellow for the base instead of black so I don't have to add those skinny little legs on them later. But them the eyes come out yellow too, so I will either color them in with a black sharpie or put googlie eyes on them as I did here. Love my googlie eyes!
Ribbon from Michael's.
"Happy Holidays" stamp from K Andrew Designs "Winter Wishes" set.

Have a Happy Holiday! :) Janis

Today's the day!
We are moving from Alaska to South Carolina and begin our driving today.
We are hoping to be home by Christmas. Please pray for us for safe travels.
I have projects already scheduled to post to my blog daily while we are traveling, so please don't forget about me! I will be able to check my email occasionally from my phone, and I look forward to reading the comments you guys leave on my blog.

Project #389 of this year
Here is another birthday card for you! Have you noticed I've been plugging in birthday cards now and then this month? :)

TALL CARD (9" x 8" and scored @ 4")
This Tall Card will fit perfectly into a #10 Business size envelope.
Background papers are from Ki "Fancy Free" stack I got at Michael's a few weeks ago on sale. I love the bright papers in this pack!
The blue flower on the balloon is from a Recollections pack.
The blue flowers at the bottom are Prima, and I added orange Recollections rhinestones to the centers. All of the flowers are adhered to the card using GLUE DOTS. I love Glue Dots! (One of my Pause Dream Enjoy sponsors!)
BIRTHDAY BASH for Bird & Balloon cut @ 3" p. 23.

Here's a hint for you. I told my Cricut Expression to cut this image at 3". Please note... it cut the bird at 3". That did not include the height of the balloon added to it. This is also true with other cuts in this cart like the bird in a party hat on page 21 show below.

Just remember that when you are cutting your images. Anything above the image like a balloon or hat is going to add to the overall height of your image cut. :)

I used pop dots to adhere the bird and balloon to give it some dimension. I use them a lot on most of my cards.
"You're How Old?" stamp from Mary's Cardz TV Stamps set "Make A Wish". This is one of my favorite sets that she has out right now. I love the fonts, the size, and the sentiments in this set!

Have a fun day! Hugs to you all. :) Janis

Look Who's One!

Project #391 of this year
Hi! How are you 'juggling' December this year?
Alaska is just gorgeous right now. We had a blizzard warning on Sunday night and lost internet for a while. Woke up Monday morning to a very thick blanket of fresh snow and it's still pouring down. Everything looks like the sky just opened up and dumped snow on all the trees and everything. I'm going to miss the snow when we move back to South Carolina. We are planning on starting our driving move there on Thursday. Just a couple of days from now.  I have projects scheduled to auto post to my blog every day (sometimes 2 posts in one day, so be sure scroll down to see all the new projects). I hope you will continue to stop by and leave comments while we are traveling! I would love to read them while we are on the road through my phone's email.

A2 size card ( 5 1/2" x 4 1/4")
Background papers from Ki "Fancy Free" stack from Michael's.
BIRTHDAY BASH for juggler p. 33 cut @ 3 1/2".

Merry and Bright

Project #359 of this year
Kraft cardbase.
I have found recently that stamping directly onto the Kraft cardstock does tend to make the ink bleed a little bit. Just FYI in case you didn't know.

Ribbon is from Michael's from last year.
Wreath cut from CELEBRATE WITH FLOURISH @ 3".

"Merry and Bright" sentiment from K Andrew Designs "Winter Wishes" set.

Have a Merry & Bright December day. :) Janis

Happy Bird-day!

Project #388 of this year
I love this card! I love the party birdie who looks like he's dancing; I love the bright papers; I love the sentiment stamp! I will be sprinkling in several birthday cards this month as a
BIRTHDAY CARD SERIES
in addition to some Christmas / Winter cards as well.  I decided to do this birthday card series this month because I personally celebrate the birthday of Jesus this month. Now I know not everyone celebrates that, but that's my reason for the Birthday Card Series.

You can sell all the cards in this Birthday Card Series this month by clicking in the LEFT sidebar, "SERIES - Birthday"
As the cards get posted this month, you'll see the number in parenthesis beside this series increase. To see all the cards so far, just click that link and they will all show up (as they become available through going LIVE on the postings).
