Ch# 102 Always Anything Goes

Hi, everyone!  Can you believe that it is exactly ONE WEEK until Christmas today?! Ooooo, I'm so excited!!

Please know that my challenge blog, PDE Linky Partywill have new linky parties posting all through the holidays and New Year's on schedule as always. So if you get some new crafty goodness under the tree this year, we'd love you to come by and LINK UP ALL YOUR PROJECTS you are making and posting to your blog! As long as they are new projects and not previously posted old blog posts, it works for us. Remember, it's always ANYTHING GOES, not just paper crafting.
If you made it with your little fingers, we want to help you show it off!

For my project today, I made a Christmas tag!

Here are all 3 tags I've posted for PDE Linky Party the last few Fridays. They were simple & fun to make!

Thanks for stopping by today. See you tomorrow!!

Winter Scene Card

Hi, everyone! I love it when I find a great complete card file in the Silhouette store. This one is one of my favorites because just by changing the tree papers from solid colors, to pattern papers, to embossing cardstock, it can really change the entire look of your card!  I did add some punched snowflakes to this one that didn't come with the cut file, and I love how it looks.

  • Christmas Tree Scene Card
  • Tim Holtz Tea Dye distress ink
  • Shiny foil- this has been in my stash for years - I never knew what to do with it until now!
  • Martha Stewart snowflake punch
  • Silver gems (Walmart)
  • Scrappy Moms - Merry & Bright stamp set
If You Give a Crafter a Cookie - photo inspiration (I used snowflakes)
Crafty Gals Corner - anything goes
12 Months of Christmas - anything goes
Shopping our Stash - let it snow
Die Cuttin' Divas - anything Christmas
Paperminutes - winter greetings
Dies R Us - use snowflakes
Fantastic Tuesday - make it sparkle

Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Ch Extra (Monthly)
Craftyhazelnut's Pattern Paper Ch

Thanks for stopping by today.  See you tomorrow!!

Some Project Life Scrapbook Pages

Hi, everyone! I finally got some ink for the printer, so I printed off the rest of the Nov photos and what I have for Dec so far and stuck them in some Project Life pockets along with fun filler cards. As of this moment, I am all caught up again. I love Project Life. It makes it really easy to scrapbook, preserve those memories, and have cute pages without all the gluing, and planning elaborate layouts. There's nothing wrong with elaborate layouts - they just aren't for me.

I used picmonkey.com to edit my photos, collage my photos (to print 2 of the 3x4 size on one 4x6 photo paper), and the Edit feature to include some journaling on the cards. I like being able to type in the journaling with the font of my choice, and have it printed with the digital card at the same time. Most of my fonts are purchased from the Silhouette Online store. And when the SOS (Silhoutte Online Store) is having a sale, I tend to stock up on the fonts I've had my eye on waiting for such sale.

Some of the filler cards are printed from images searched online, and the rest are from various Project Life packs. I enjoy buying the physical PL cards, but I also love the ease (and cheaper price) of buying the digital PL cards and then just printing the ones I want when I need them. Another digital bonus - you never run out of cards since you can print them over and over again!

Thanks for stopping by today.  See you tomorrow!!

Merry & Bright Minis

Hi, everyone! As you may or may not know, I'm an AVON lady. I actually signed up with someone who come to find out lives just down the street from me. Too funny. Anyway, we are friends on Facebook and she mentioned maybe getting some of my Christmas cards I've been showing to put in her customers' Avon orders this month. I pulled out all the ones I had in my stash and then decided to make about 30 Mini cards. I have no idea how many she needs, but I know she has tons of customers. Hopefully the bag full I gave her will be enough after combining the ones I had here, plus making 30 more.  Today I wanted to share with you the 3x3 Mini cards I made. They were super simple, did not require an electronic die cutting machine, and are a great way to use up some scraps.

  • Red cardstock
  • Martha Stewart Doily border punch
  • Martha Stewart Holly punch
  • Red gems (Walmart - Studio G)
  • Pattern paper from Stampin Up
  • AND.... wait for it..... my new stamp sets from Scrappy Moms! I used stamps from both the Merry & Bright set, and the Christmas Cheer set.

This is what my desk looked like during the process.....

Over the Moon - Baby Blog Hop

We are so glad you have joined us for the

Over The Moon Baby Blog Hop!

You will be inspired by all the Baby Projects & Gift Ideas on this hop. These ladies are amazing. Our friend, Jen, is expecting a little one soon, and we thought it would be fun to have a little hop in her honor. Put on some Christmas Music, sit down by the fire with your laptop, grab a candy cane to snack on, and enjoy the hop. There are 7 stops along the way (including me). You are not going to want to miss any of them!

Here is my project:

I decided to do a little crochet baby blanket. I found a great pattern on the internet & printed it off. I looked at so many different sites for this, I'm sorry that I didn't save the link for you. We don't know if Jen is having a boy or girl, and so I went with gray and yellow for the blanket. It was very relaxing to sit on the couch with Tom & Bonnie and crochet while we watched football or something on Netflix. I hope her little one will enjoy using this.

Here is the complete blog hop lineup. Enjoy!

Janis (you are here)

Thanks for hopping with us today!
